The 5th edition of Barcelona International Community Day

The 5th edition of Barcelona International Community Day takes place on October 20th of 2018.

International community. Once again, the international community of Barcelona will meet at the Museu Marítim in a day full of activities, information and networking.

Organized by Barcelona City Council, this year the Barcelona International Community Day (Barcelona ICD) will celebrate its 5th edition at the Museu Marítim on Saturday 20th of October 2018. It’s the official meeting place for the members of the international community who live and work in Barcelona area and last year gathered over 4,500 attendees from 121 countries.

The aim of this initiative is to provide expats with information and useful resources in three main areas: personal landing, working and doing business and enjoying the city. The full programme of activities presents conferences, round tables, panel discussions, informative sessions and different networking workshops. It also features animation workshops for families because the Barcelona ICD is an event open to everyone, which also pretends to enhance the inclusion of the members of the international community in the local life and enrich the latter with this valuable foreign human capital.

Besides the programme of activities, the Museu Marítim de Barcelona will also host an exhibition fair with stands of companies and organizations that offer specialized services aimed at the expat community alongside associations in the professional, social and cultural areas. Near 80 exhibitors took part in last edition’s, from sectors like education, health, real state, finances, legal services, leisure and sports, job and collaborative economy initiatives. In this 5th edition it’s expected to welcome a similar, or even bigger, number of exhibitors to offer useful and first-hand information to the attendees.

The programme of activities of the Barcelona International Community Day 2018 edition hasn’t been announced yet but one can already register to attend. It’s a free event but it requires to sign up through this form.
